Frequently asked questions

Everything teams ask us before booking a training.

What is Harness Institute?

We train engineering teams to work with AI coding tools: Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.

Harness Institute is the organization behind claudeworkshop.com, cursorworkshop.com, and codexworkshop.com. One team, one framework, three specialist workshops.

How long is a training?

At least one full day. Most teams pick one or two days.

We fit the length to your team size, your codebase, and what you want to change. A big rollout becomes a series of sessions.

What is the difference between onsite, offsite, and remote trainings?

Onsite: we come to your office and work in your own setup.

Offsite: we run the training at an external venue, so the team is out of the daily routine for a day or two.

Remote: live sessions over Zoom, for distributed teams.

Same trainers, same exercises, every format hands-on.

What size teams do you train?

From small teams of 5 to 10 developers up to organizations with 100+ engineers.

Large groups get split into smaller cohorts, so the work stays practical for everyone.

What is included?

Tool setup done right, exercises in your own repositories, review habits for AI-written code, shared team rules, and a concrete plan for the next sprint.

You leave with written rules checked into your repos, not a folder of notes.

Which tools do you cover?

Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. Whichever your team already pays for.

We run a dedicated workshop brand for each tool, so your trainers use that exact tool every day: claudeworkshop.com, cursorworkshop.com, and codexworkshop.com. Copilot and adjacent tooling come up often and we handle those too.

Do we need AI experience?

No. We train developers at every level.

We start with the basics, then build up to agent workflows, team rules, and review habits. Seniors and juniors both leave with something new.

Does this work in regulated industries?

Yes. That is our specialty.

We work under NDA, inside your environment, with your approved tools. Nothing leaves your systems. And we write down who signs off on what, so your audit trail holds.

Who leads the training?

Rogier and Vasilis, the two founders. Rogier is CTO at BlueMonks Group and runs agents in production every day. Vasilis is partner at Cognitiv+ and helps regulated teams adopt AI.

Between them they hold official ambassador roles for Claude, Cursor, Codex, and n8n. You train with people who do this work daily, not career trainers.

What happens after the training?

The rules and checklists stay in your repos, so the way of working survives after we leave.

We also offer follow-up sessions, office hours, and support packages if you want us to stay involved.

How do I book, and what does it cost?

We have free material to get started, and bespoke trainings for engineering teams.

Book a discovery call. We look at your team size, your tools, and your goals, then confirm dates and a price.
